Starting a round

Start GPS search manually, wait for GPS lock, choose your course, and choose your starting hole.

Start from the clock screen when you are ready to play.

Start GPS course search

NAVO W1 does not start looking for a course automatically. From the clock screen, press the top-right crown-style button once to begin.

Main menu with the Play Golf flag button
The center button with the flag icon opens Play Golf.
  • Press the top-right crown-style button once.
  • Or swipe right to left to open the main menu, then tap the center Play Golf button with the flag icon.
  • Confirm that the watch displays GPS Searching. If this screen does not appear, course search has not started.
NAVO W1 displaying the GPS Searching screen
Stay on the GPS Searching screen until nearby courses appear.

Wait for GPS, then select your course

  • Stay outdoors in an open area while NAVO searches for GPS satellites.
  • Once GPS is locked, nearby golf courses appear on the watch.
  • If a course name is shortened, tap the three dots on that course line to view the full course name.
  • Select the course you want to play.
  • Hole 1 distances then appear on the watch.
  • To start on a different hole, swipe up or down until the desired hole appears.

During the round

As you move through the course, NAVO automatically advances from hole to hole when you arrive at the next tee box.

If no nearby course appears, first confirm that you pressed the crown and saw GPS Searching. Then make sure you are outdoors in an open area. GPS course search works best outdoors, not inside a building.
